We are delighted to announce that Diaverum Spain has signed an agreement to become a member of the Spanish Confederation of Business Organisations (Confederación Española de Organizaciones Empresariales – CEOE), a leading business coalition in the country.
The CEOE was founded in 1977, with the aim of representing the interests of the Spanish business community before the Government, state agencies, trade unions, political parties and international institutions. It has over 240 members, that include state-owned and private companies across all sectors, including technology, aviation and healthcare.
The agreement was formalised on 19 April between Diaverum Spain’s Country Manager, José María Ordóñez, and CEOE president, Antonio Garamendi. This membership will enable Diaverum Spain to participate in the CEOE’s commissions, council and working groups, in addition to accessing the services, activities, initiatives and programmes it offers its members, which can all come together to address issues of collective interest.
Now part of the CEOE President’s Advisory Council, José Maria Ordóñez said: “For Diaverum, the integration with the CEOE is an honor. We trust that this collaboration will allow us to create synergies, where we will offer all our knowledge and experience in the health sector to make progress and add value in the development of a more sustainable and fair society. We believe that collaboration, debate and the exchange of ideas with other companies that are operating in Spain is the best way to promote innovation and make a positive contribution to our communities”.
Antonio Garamendi also commented on the agreement: "We welcome Diaverum, a healthcare company that is dedicated to improving the quality of life of people with renal disease, to the ‘home’ of business men and women in Spain. The innovative work of Diaverum and the health sector as a whole has recently proved to be critical for society to develop safely and with responsibly".
