With travel now well and truly back on our agendas, our d.HOLIDAY programme continues to find new ways of keeping holiday dialysis makers up to speed with the launch of a new, all-digital newsletter.

The ‘d.HOLIDAY’ newsletter is an exciting way for CKD patients to become acquainted with the broad variety of holiday dialysis destinations offered by  the programme, across Diaverum’s 23 markets around the world. It will also feature travel tips from our travel experts, interesting news and articles and much more. The first edition, entitled “¡Vamos a España!” focuses on Spain, one of the programme’s most popular destinations, features a special interview with Paulina Walkowiak, Holiday Dialysis Coordinator for Diaverum Spain, as well as travel information on some of the country’s most popular destinations.

The newsletter is an exclusive, subscription-only content. Those interested in receiving the newsletter can sign up, either at the foot of the d.HOLIDAY landing page, or when they sign up as a d.HOLIDAY client.

It is the latest step in d.HOLIDAY’s move towards making holiday dialysis simpler, quicker and easier, following the launch of the eponymous d.HOLIDAY booking platform in May earlier this year, and the Diaverum Travel Guide in July 2021.

Michaela Blomstrand, Global Director Patient Experience and Community Affairs, commented on the launch: “I’m absolutely delighted to be sharing this first edition of the d.HOLIDAY newsletter, which represents the culmination of many months of hard work from our team”.

“Our goal with this newsletter is to inspire CKD patients to travel and most importantly, to empower them with the confidence that our d.HOLIDAY programme can support these dreams, by ensuring full continuity of care, from their home clinic to their chosen destination.”

“Be sure to sign up to receive our newsletter and stay turned for more exciting updates, that will soon include a Christmas special edition!”.
