Diaverum marked a compelling return to the Arab Health trade show last month. Held at the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) from 27 to 30 January, Diaverum showcased its leadership in renal care, inviting visitors to engage in discussions on healthcare innovation, patient-centric technologies, and personalised health & precision care, affirming its commitment to advancing renal care across the region.

The Arab Health Exhibition and Congress is the Middle East’s largest and most comprehensive healthcare event. Held annually in Dubai, it brings together healthcare professionals, industry leaders, and innovators from around the world to showcase the latest advancements in medical technology, healthcare solutions, & services. The event features a wide range of exhibitors, conferences, and networking opportunities, making it a key platform for discussing & shaping the future of healthcare.

Celebrating its landmark 50th edition with the theme, “Where the World of Healthcare Meets”, this year’s event attracted over 3,450 exhibitors and more than 110,000 healthcare professionals from across 180 countries worldwide.

Diaverum’s presence at the exhibition underscored its integral role within M42’s newly established Global Patient Care (GPC) platform. M42, a pioneering, global health-tech powerhouse headquartered in Abu Dhabi, took centre stage as the official Global Health Partner at the event. Aligning with the event’s overarching theme, attendees at M42’s booth experienced first-hand the transformative innovations shaping the future of healthcare, through an insightful lineup of over 40 panel discussions and presentations with strategic topics delivered by more than 100 world-renowned physicians & health-tech experts.

Diaverum played a prominent role across the entirety of the event, featuring in several panels & presentations led by its Executive Leadership Team, and key leadership representatives from the GPC Medical Corporate Office and the Saudi Arabia country team.

One of the main highlights was a session by Dr. Fernando Macário, Global Patient Care platform CMO, on "Clinical Governance Unlocked: Driving Quality, Safety, and Innovation in Healthcare", where he explored how M42's advanced GPC platform and integrated health care capabilities, are disrupting traditional renal care models towards precision & preventative care for longer, better lives.

Another highlight was a panel featuring Ziyad Kabli, Diaverum’s COO for Middle East & Asia, Carlos Lucas, Clinical Digitalisation & Innovation, and Dr. Fernando. Titled “Shaping Renal Care in the ME with Patient-Centric Technologies”, it inspired meaningful discussions around the future of renal care in the Middle East, the role AI and digital innovations will play, and how Diaverum integrates following its UAE market entry announcement and an already significant presence in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

On holiday dialysis, Ali Shakir, General Manager for Diaverum Saudi Arabia, joined a session called “Using Technology to Enable Medical Tourism Among Dialysis Patients”. Ali discussed our holiday dialysis programme, d.HOLIDAY, which ensures continuity of care for patients who want to travel and aligns with our mission of providing life-enhancing renal care, enabling our patients to become more mobile through technology.
