Last month, Diaverum Lithuania welcomed patients to its new clinic in the city of Kėdainiai. It replaces the previous facilities in the city, whose lease ended recently.

The clinic will continue to focus on haemodialysis services; it is comprised of 8 fully equipped dialysis stations, where 10 staff currently care for around 40 patients. In addition, it will expand its services to include specialist consultations, as well as physiotherapy. Free transportation to and from the clinic will also be provided to patients.

The clinic is housed in a spacious building of about 200 square metres, in Kėdainiai’s Old Town district. It also benefits from a close proximity to shopping centres and the municipality.

Darius Praninskas, Country Manager for Diaverum Lithuania, commented: “We are delighted to be welcoming our patients, who have been patiently waiting, to our new premises. Our promise to them is that we will continue to provide life-enhancing renal care, underpinned by the clinical & medical standards that define Diaverum, in a refreshed, comfortable environment that will look after their physical and mental health”.

Vilma Balčiuvienė, Clinic Director, added: “Our new clinic will see the expansion of the services we provide in Kedainiai to cover every aspect of the needs of CKD patients, starting from haemodialysis and including dietician advice, physiotherapy and specialist consultations with a nephrologist, vascular surgeon and cardiologist”.

This launch marks the latest in a series of important upgrades of Diaverum’s services in Lithuania, following the recent launch of our new facilities in Kaunas.
