We are thrilled to announce the relocation of our clinic in Concepción, south Chile, to a new state-of-the art facility. This move will significantly expand our ability to provide life-enhancing renal care in an area with a growing number of chronic kidney disease patients requiring dialysis.

Situated in one of Chile's largest urban areas, the new clinic offers comprehensive dialysis treatment with 48 dialysis stations, capable of treating up to 288 patients. Its main services will continue to focus on the provision of haemodialysis, along with the coordination and provision of multidisciplinary care through specialist teams, as part of Diaverum’s holistic approach to renal care.

The new facility not only increases our capacity but also benefits from enhanced amenities and accessibility. Featuring modern, state-of-the-art facilities and robust technology that meet Diaverum’s world-class standards of renal care, the clinic is designed to provide a safe and comfortable environment for patients.

Rafael Romanini, Diaverum’s COO for Europe & LatAm, shared: “The relocation of our Concepción clinic marks a significant milestone for Chile, as the new clinic stands as our largest dialysis centre in the country. Chile is one of our fastest developing markets in the Latin American region, and this expansion is a testament to Diaverum’s mission to broaden access to care by operating clinics in areas with high need, while offering innovative, integrated healthcare solutions”.

Pablo Inones, Country Managing Director for Diaverum Chile, added: “By expanding our capacity and upgrading our facilities, we are not only addressing the growing demand for haemodialysis but also enhancing the overall patient experience. Our commitment remains on providing personalised, patient-centred care, ensuring that every individual receives the best possible treatment. We are excited to welcome patients to our new dialysis centre”.

Currently, Diaverum Chile operates 19 clinics across the country, with more than 450 staff providing life-enhancing renal care to over 1,930 patients, guided by our culture of True care.
