We are delighted to announce that Diaverum Brazil is expanding its renal care offering within the country, with a new private clinic in São Paulo.
The clinic is located in Guarulhos, a municipality in the São Paulo Metropolitan Region and the second most populous city in the state. Diaverum already has an established presence in city, with another clinic in the Vila Progresso area.
An all-new facility providing a holistic, integrated treatment approach, the clinic is the latest addition to Diaverum’s network of clinics in Brazil, which it first entered in 2018.The clinic is comprised of 42 fully equipped dialysis stations, where 60 staff are expected to provide life-enhancing renal care for around 252 patients, an increase of almost 50% on Diaverum’s capacity in the city. Its services will focus on the provision of haemodialysis, with a dedicated area for HDF treatment, as well as the coordination and provision of multidisciplinary care, through specialist consultations, a nutrition team and social services. A number of amenities, such as Wi-Fi, individual TVs and light meals will be available to patients as they receive treatment.
With the launch of this clinic, Diaverum Brazil now operates 10 treatment centres across the country, as well as one vascular access centre. Over 1,200 staff will be treating more than 4,000 patients on an annual basis.
Rafael Romanini, Regional VP for the Iberia, Latam and CEE regions, commented on the new clinic’s significance to Diaverum: “This denovo clinic represents a new and significant milestone for our growth path in Brazil. It re-enforces our strategy to offer high-standard treatment centres in markets with potential for continued growth and to deliver comprehensive care solutions to our patients & stakeholders ”.
