Dimitris has over 30 years of international experience in the healthcare services and medical technology sectors.

Dimitris joined Diaverum in October 2018, where he has led a substantial digital transformation – including digitalising clinical workflows and integrating machine learning technologies to enhance healthcare teams' ability to deliver superior-quality renal care at scale. Since July 2024, Dimitris has also been holding a position within Diaverum's parent company, M42, acting as their Group Chief Operating Officer (GCOO) and a member of their Executive Team.

Before Diaverum and from 2005, Dimitris worked at Affidea, a pan-European imaging, outpatient and cancer care group. There, he served as Group CEO between September 2012 and January 2018. Prior to this, Dimitris held sales management positions in ultrasound systems and medical imaging devices at GE Healthcare.

Dimitris is passionate about care digitalisation and believes that AI developments have the potential to democratise and transform healthcare, making it high-quality, personalised and accessible to all. 

Dimitris studied Biomedical Engineering at the Athens University of Applied Sciences. He also holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Leicester.
