Diaverum Hungary has been awarded Silver at the  “Patient Friendly Service Provider of the Year” (Az év Betegbarát szolgáltatòja ) competition.

Held for the first time this year, the competition is a Hungary-based initiative whose concept originated from the belief that having a patient experience framework in place not only helps them assess the quality of services, but also navigate the country's broad and highly competitive private healthcare system.

The Awards aim to provide special acknowledgement to those healthcare organisations that excel in providing a superior, patient-centred experience. Encompassing 16 categories, this includes the core "Patient Experience" category, in which Hungary won Silver.

Life-enhancing renal care that makes a difference

With exacting criteria that needed to be met as part of the evaluation process, Diaverum Hungary stood out amongst the competition for its personalised, patient-centric care, with True care at the core of its offering.

The team was also singled out for its focus on patient-centred communications, which have helped build trust and reduce the burden of regular treatment. Other recognised activities or processes included:

  • personalised patient education initiatives;
  • social and mental health support from patient coordinators;
  • patient surveys;
  • Diaverum's proprietary digital platforms that are used daily to improve medical outcomes and take the burden off our professional staff, leaving them more time to care for patients.

Tamas Kohler, Country Manager for Diaverum Hungary had this to say: "I am delighted that our team has received this Award, as it is proof that Diaverum Hungary takes its patients' needs seriously, and that True care guides everything we do".

"This achievement would not have been possible without the competence, passion and inspiration shown by our clinic teams, who work tirelessly every day to enhance the lives of our patients. Thank you for being with us!".
